Ohio in Chaos

The Coach after learning that Jameson Sean had gotten a job at the Gallifreyan high council then found out that he is staying full time on Gallifrey for his job. Jarold Sean and his step sister Sarah Adric Smith had also known about this telling The Coach,” we can be here and travel with you if it helps you Coach?!?!?” The Coach looked at his son Jarold and step daughter Sarah then just said,” Alright let's go see what we can do.” He piloted his TARDIS stuck in the disguise of a Morehead State University moveable locker as the exterior to Ohio. After landing they exit The Coach's TARDIS. Earlier.... a couple Alex Wentyr and Dale Haren were having a date by the Ohio river Dale was about to propose to his girlfriend Alex Wentyr and Dale saw something strange going on with the water in the river asking,” sweetie, what's wrong with the river water?” Alex was looking at the river water then asked ,” yeah, it looks weird what's up with that?” Dale responded,” I don't know what it is but the water has a metallic pink ish purple look to it.” Alex went to the edge of the river water just touched it with her finger and was pulled in seemingly by the river. Dale freaking out shouted,” Alex??!???!?!?!???”. When The Coach and family arrived….. Jarold Sean and Sarah Smith were having lunch with The Coach at a Burger King when Jarold noticed something strange happening. Sarah, picking up on that, asked,” this is Ohio in 2023 right?” The Coach stuck a finger in the air after licking it replied,” correct! If I'm not mistaken.” Jarold Sean asked,” Hey, Dad why are people avoiding the Ohio river like the plague?” and Sarah Smith asked,” and why are people staying in restaurant's instead of their homes?” The Coach picking up on his kids thoughts said,” those are two great questions. I have a few few myself.” He said just before he finished his whopper with one final bite. Jarold already knew those questions and so did Sarah, The Coach then continued,” why are they serving cans of pop and bottles of water? Why are people living in restaurants instead of their houses? And why are people avoiding the water?” Jarold Sean then said,” unless there's something wrong with the water sources.” Sarah after eating her last fry added,” so we should investigate this, yeah?” The Coach finished his can of Dr pepper saying,” of course we should, and find out why all of this is happening.” Jarold Sean finished his whopper Junior meal said,” let's go see what's up.” They left the restaurant and went around the town asking people about what they thought was going on with everything. Dale noticed these new people in town were asking the same questions he had been after the Ohio river took Alex. Jarold Sean went around asking about the events that lead up to this, Sarah went around asking about why people are staying away from there homes, and The Coach went around the town asking people if they had noticed anything strange going on. Dale, hoping these people can help him walks up to The Coach, tapped him on the shoulder saying,” I've seen some strange things going on. The Ohio river just took the woman I was about to propose to. Can you please help me?” The Coach was surprised by this and intrigued, asking him,” The Ohio river did what?” He took out his psychic paper and said,” Jameson Sean, city water toxicity inspector.” Dale Haren looked at it and took The Coach to the banks of the Ohio river where he detailed everything about what had happened The Coach then asked,"So, when you say the Ohio river took her you mean.” Dale shook his head in agreement and The Coach said,” fascinating, and judging by the looks of the water this is somewhat man made but the question is what is the other half of the somewhat?” Jarold Sean and Sarah Smith were inspecting the houses. Jarold was using his sonic mechanical pencil to scan for something that would lead people to leaving their homes in a hurry and Sarah was using her Sonic compact to check for anything toxic in the houses. The Coach took out his Sonic Pointer and began scanning the river water afterwards he waited for the scan results. Jarold and Sarah are almost done with their scans and when they finished up got out of the house they were currently in to wait for the results of their scans. People looked at the water in the Ohio river and like they were in a trance started walking towards it. The Coach got the scanning results back on his Sonic Pointer as he looked at the results he was shocked and horrified by what he was seeing. Jarold and Sarah got the results of their scans back and then said,” we should tell Dad to keep people away from the river!?!?!?!?!” as people watch loved one go into the river water only to be horrified by the water pulling them in never to be seen again. The Coach called up unit HQ and informed them about the situation with Jarold Sean and Sarah Smith getting there shouting,” Dad, don't let them go to the river.” The Coach after seeing what happened said,” yeah, I know and I already called up unit HQ they're looking into a way to stop the Gealth’s plans.” unit arrived with some troops keeping people from going into the river. The Coach, Jarold, and Sarah were wondering what the solution to this problem was when one of the scientific advisors on the scene said,” what was it that stopped them the first time? Closing off the gas lamps?” The Coach, picking up on what he was saying, said,"So theoretically if we cleaned it up that would make them leave, correct?” Jarold Sean picked up on that said,” if we get a toxicity clean up team here how do we keep the Gealth’s  from claiming the clean up team though?” Sarah picking up from there said,” hazmat dive suits might do the trick.” The Coach asked the scientific advisor for his name and he responded,” I'm Zachary Calvin and are you who I think you are?” The Coach said,” yeah, I'm The Coach, nice meeting you Zachary Calvin.” Unit HQ contacted a local company to deal with the situation and The Coach offered the Gealth's a choice,” leave the people of Earth alone, restore the people you took from these excellent humans or I'll have no choice to let them get rid of you?” A laugh erupted from the river water then The Coach gave the signal for the clean up team to go forward. Afterwards The Coach, Jarold, and Sarah went back to to The Coach's TARDIS and took off.
